.
‘See ya later, Alligator!’ (See ya later, Alligator!)
‘In a while, Crocodile’, (In a while, Crocodile)
You know, you make me smile, Girl, I love your style
‘See ya later, Alligator!’

Way down in the tropics, in the Everglades
Evening comes, as the daylight fades
Gators lazin’ in the summer breeze
Crocs all hidin’ in the mangrove trees
Full moon rises, The time is right
There’s gonna be a Party to-night

Swamp comes alive, With the rising moon
Tree frog chorus begins to croon
Croc and Alligator a-rubbin’ their snouts
Alli says, “Croc, you make me want to shout!”
One look in her eyes, It was plain to see
“Miss Alli, won’t ya marry me?”

Chorus

Hatchlings swim in the sawgrass swamp,
You can see ‘em splash, you can hear ‘em chomp
Where the mangroves grow, and cast their shade,
Way down in the tropics, In the Everglades
Basking in the sun, While the young-uns play,
And, now you hear them say:

‘See ya later, Croco-gator!’ (See ya later, Croco-gator!)
‘In a while, Alli-dile’, (In a while, Alli-dile)
You know, you make me smile, Girl, I love your style
‘See ya later, Alligator!’
